Melp
I've just noticed Foodog licking her ankle and found this I know they're poor pics but it looks like a wart, all sort of knobbly. She's made it bleed by licking it. I've never seen it before today and I'm certain she's never bothered with it Obviously she'll see the vet if she won;t leave it alone but when I had warts they never bothered me, didn;t know if they were different in dogs or perhaps it's something else
Yantan
Mel George had a wart on his leg, which the vet said in itself was no problem, but as George kept licking it and making the whole area sore the vet decided it was better to freeze dry it. It involved a GA but it sorted the problem out. Marion
Wendbert
Bumpy has a few little warts here and there and they don't bother him. The Lab my parents had used to get them on her face and they would only bleed or look sore if she rubbed or scratched herself, otherwise they didn't cause any problems. Melp
Fank ewes . Dennis has lots of warts but they never bother him [surprising really considering what a wimp he is] I think I'll trot her off to the vets to get this frozzed off. cackie
It looks like a Histiocytoma . Abi had one removed recently under GA she was as right as rain the day after My vet sent it off to the lab for tests just to make sure though. Hope FooDog is ok. Melp
That's exactly what it looks like, thanks Caroline [she's not young but she is a staffyx] best get it whipped off anyway as it seems to be bothering her.
Muriel
Warts can just seem to appear suddenly and can bleed if bumped/scratched, but don't normally bother them. That doesn't look like a wart to me though, glad you're getting it checked.
yena
Milly has loads of warts, and when she licks them they do bleed. Some are almost cauliflower in shape, some look like little volcanoes with a red patch in the middle, but, all are rised above the skin. Looking at the pictures I agreed with Muriel it doesn't look like a wart, I'd also get it checked.
