However, once it was established that he was getting a bag from the car I cannot understand how matters were left to escalate to this extent.
  4. Thanks If it wasn't so far away, we'd love to sell up and live there. Well, there or Cornwall, I can't decide We'd like this house in Elterwater, isn't it just lovely ?
  5. Hi everyone, So, we're back from our annual trip to The Lakes. We stayed at Ambleside this year as our usual bolt hole in Elterwater wasn't available. As it turned out, it was just as well as Elterwater is undergoing some construction work to the row of cottages and the Post Office and shop is closed. So I think we'll probably use Ambleside as our base from now on. Here's some pics for you to enjoy Now some on dry land! After all the walking - this was her Royal Rubyness most evenings Couple of odd ones that made me giggle Hope you liked them. Roll on 2010!

  17. Oh no, what a worry. We send our very best wishes
  18. Sort of yes, but not the full particulars. We know York is going to a somewhat local area with a gentleman who has had a Guide Dog before. We've also volunteered to be 'holiday relief' in the event that the Guide Dog cannot go with their owner so it could be possible we'd see him again - but not necessarily. It's amazing isn't it? When I think of Ruby as a 17mth old I wouldn't have trusted her with anything/anyone And some things never change Thanks for looking everyone
  19. Hi everyone, Here's a few pics of York in his harness. He's ready to go to his new owner next week and will leave us He's been as good as gold in the 12 weeks we've had him and although we'll be sad to see him go, I feel so proud as he's only 17mths and he's such a capable boy So here's the pics How proud does he look? I hope we'll be lucky enough to foster another later in the year and we've really enjoyed it.
