Des knocked a few walls down in the garden today - part of his stop smoking therapy I think Charlie and Bethan loved Dr Who this morning - had to keep telling them to shut up though when we watched it tonight.

Decided to have a baking day with one of my daughters. Choc chip cookies - wonderful, couldn't do hungarian biscuits as no cocoa powder so thought we'd make fairy cakes. All going to plan until I thought "these cakes are taking ages to cook" - checked the oven and my delightful youngest daughter had switched it off, thinking she was helping when the cookies beeped! Had to bin the whole lot of cakes as they'd sort of cooked due to the oven still being warm - they were GROSS Nevermind - have despatched OH to Tesco to stock up on chocolate for after our fajitas tonight. What's scary though is that both Mucky and I decided to have fajitas tonight and bought the stuff yesterday without mentioning it to the other until today!!!! Edited to say: Forgot to mention that there's just over 24 hours left til the end of the Lizzie's Barn Auction.

Lizzie's Barn is an amazing place and Fionna and her family do a fantastic job. The change in the dogs from when they enter the Barn to when they leave is astounding. :o When I first met Badger I thought he was a stayer - how Fi proved me wrong There's also Connor who has a pancreatic disorder which requires regular medication costing about £12 a week, plus a special diet. With the medication he is fit and well.
