  1. When we lost Erwine lots of people left lovely messages. This is one that was/is very touching to us and it is engraved on his casket. It seems appropriate for Mary Anne too: A thousand hearts have been touched by you, two thousand arms have wanted to hold you and a million tears have fallen for you. Run free Mary Anne

  8. He literally dives into them and chucks them about like a mad thing. He is an absolute bloody nutter! Finally he has worn himself out Welcome home Barnacle Bear
  9. Blunkett is a politician so he is just out to increase his popularity. The enquiry did not question the actions of the PCSO's even in the article you have posted about it quotes "Detective Chief Inspector Phil Owen, of Wigan CID, said it would have been "inappropriate" for PCSOs, who are not trained in water rescue, to enter the pond" so everybody is saying that the PCSO's have taken the correct course of action when they have arrived at the scene. I am certain things would have been different if there was sign of the child.
  10. Yet you are happy to quote that they did actually stand and watch the child drown without doing anything without any evidence that they did and in fact all evidence points to there being no sign of life. The area of water is the size of a football field so how would they have known what area to start looking anyway? You have never questioned why the parents allowed these children to be playing near a large area of water they are the guardians of the children it is their responsibility to ensure the safety of their children. If they had just jumped in blindly, and without being trained on water rescues, we could well be looking even more of a tragedy with one or both of the PCSO's being killed would you prefer that to have happened? The Police Officer would have had more training and might well have been trained on water rescues.
  11. You keep quoting this although all the evidence shows that there was no sign of life when they arrived and in the public enquiry it was stated that the child was most likely already dead when they did arrived. The PCSO's did not just stand by and watch the child die.
  12. Having just seen pictures on the news of the area of water which is the size of a football field and when the PCSO's arrived there was no sign of life whatsoever in the water. They are not trained for water rescues which obviously present extreme danger as you do not know what is beneath the water that could endanger the rescuers. I am sure if there was any sign of life they would have been straight into the water.
  13. We have a NetGear router here. Was initially easy to set-up. we did have problems with our internet connection and the wireless connection went squiffy but they have a fantastic support we got response quickly which was really easy to follow. Had problems with a Belkin in the past and they were not as helpful.
  14. Robert Jordan books have kept getting better but having a big delay with the new one as he has a very rare form of cancer at the moment so he isnt able to do any writing but he is slowly recovering. Raymond E Feist is good. You should Try Stephen Erikson - Malazan Series and Stephen Donaldson - Chronicles of Thomas Covenant.
  15. Yeah really sad news as he was a great author. I have this book on my pile of books to read. My understanding is that his wife actually wrote the majority of it but she co wrote a lot of his previous books with out being named so really hoping it is going to be similar to his previous books. I am currently re reading Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.

  17. I very rearely buy meat as Sarah is vegetarian and that is just as good (apart from roasts ;)) when I do buy it is Free Range (chicken for the doggies) or are either Organic or the top range ones so good quality.
  18. I have no problems with having a Royal Family. My problem is tht our Taxes pay for them even though they are stinking rich in their own right they should have to pay their own way and the taxes they get at the moment should goto better causes.
  19. Is the house you found the dog at the parents house? If so i would pay them a little visit in a week to check up on the doggie and ensure that they know about the abandonment.
  20. Very good hard hitting ad. Really should have that sort of ad over here.
