Oldies Club have kindly been donated an original signed ink of an Italian Greyhound by artist Kim McRae to help raise funds towards our work with oldies. Kim is hugely versatile and works as happily in ink and wash, watercolour and oil as she does in acrylic and mixed media. Her subjects of choice are animals, usually dogs, but she does also paint people and the world around her. As well as selling previously created artwork Kim also takes on commissions with enthusiasm. The auction has started on our Facebook Auction Page and ends at 9pm on Wednesday 4th January. Had a lovely if a rather brisk down Ogmore today. Weather far different from the balmy October walk Thankfully the rain held back and kindly waited for us to arrive back home before lashing down. Louie has a habit of bringing baby slugs in on his ears He likes to go to the toilet concealed which usually means sticking his head into the bushes. Think he follows the philosophy of if he cant see you then you can see him Hope Phebe is okay. Mouse is a babe and even though I probably read he was a medium sized crossbreed I still expected him to be ditty lol. Its piddling down I have no intention of going out and they way I feel will probably be in bed before midnight. Bah humbug

Managed to have a bath but the phone call came having just sat down to watch Harry Potter All arranged for Monday. Milly was such a cute puppy. Esp the naughty spots of her tum Cant believe its been two years. Wondering what to do with myself tomorrow.

Weather is pants. Dont know what to do with myself today. Am awaiting someone to return my call to do with assessing a dog. I know if I go out they will probably ring when Im driving. Urgh

My brother is home for Christmas. He went out to the kitchen leaving his bottle of beer on the floor next to the sofa. He came back in and managed to stub his toe and then knock over his bottle. He put his pringles down and went back into kitchen to get some tissue. Louie jumped off my lap and I thought he was going to lick the spilt drink up but he ran over and pinched the crisps instead Nadolig Llawen

I dont remember if it was the same beach walk as when Georgina met you and Polly but it did remind of the photo I have of Louie & Polly at Ogmore a couple of years ago. Im glad the vets were compassionate and that she went peacefully.

Afternoon all So sorry for your friend Marion Louie had a sensitive tum. He has problems with chicken. Louie loves chicken. Chicken unfortunately doesnt love Louie Hes fed on JWB lamb and rice and it suits him down to a tee. He has a shiny coat and good muscle layer so he always has that as his base food. I avoid all chicken dog foods and treats. He do have a small amount of meat every so often. Still one more day in work tomorrow. Boo! Hopefully can leave a bit early. Jayne I know how you feel. Ive been on my own 6 years and although I still live at home I can still feel lonely at times as if something isnt right with me as people around me are settling down getting married and/or having kids. Then I realise there are lots of people just like me out there as well. They said Facebook was the worst invention for making people feel lonely as people make out their lives are far more wonderful than they actually are alot of the time.
