  1. if you pm me your full address I'll use the online OS mapping system to measure it (although you can probably do it using google earth to be honest, I think....) but remember you have 2 storeys if it's a house so double the external measurement.
  2. ohohohoh poooooooooooooooopies!! how many, Sarah?
  3. Oh no Please let them all know we'll be thinking of them. Safe journey, Charlie
  4. http://calculator.bcis.co.uk/ House rebuilding cost calculator Not a silly question at all... its not related to value in any way. It's the cost of complete demolition of the existing property, the cost to completely rebuild plus the cost of fees involved in carrying out the rebuild (ie surveyors, architects, planning fees, etc etc), measurement based on the gross external area of the property.
  5. It's really starting to bug me that we can't type c*** on here
  6. Well done Amy! Ange, what a clown of a mother you came across. You'd think at least she'd have explained as you went past first time what the reaction might be! RMF: Muppet learnt to c*** his leg today.
  7. Ouch, Holly hope it's nothing nasty and you're just keeping your mum on her toes as well as being on yours!
  8. Good news, Sarah. Call me later when you know more
  9. Oh crap Sarah... just catching up.. have you managed to get her to the vet to discuss pain control at least? Call if you need a wibble
  10. When i was about that age, I fell on a wall and broke my hymen (honestly!!) which gave the symptoms of a small bleed with nothing else... and sore privates! It was about 3 years before I started my periods proper (and I really really don't remember it at all!). Just a thought...
  11. So so sorry. I hope that her short life brought love and laughter to everyone around her and that your son can remember her like that.
  12. Hope you've had a wonderful birthday, Georgia We look forward to lots more antics in the coming year Hope you've had a wonderful birthday, Georgia We look forward to lots more antics in the coming year
  13. You can't do that without Police consent, Nige. And as this is a missing, not stolen dog, there will be no crime and thus no incentive for the police to trace anything. We've only once managed a phone trace and that was because the thief called and made demands whilst the owner was on a landline to the police at the time and they heard the call... It's a difficult one but there are obviously priorities in tracing calls and dogs, unfortunately, are not (understandably when you consider murders etc).
  14. Bejo was on Jim'll Fix It and WE loyal fugees haven't heard about it - or had the pleasure of seeing the footage ?? (*wonders if You Tube has vintage coverage*)
  15. Funny i often wonder the same thing, but after the things that were said about me buying Muppet behind my back that then got straight back to me, immediately, I decided life was too short and I get on with it instead of worrying about it
  16. Sam as you very well now, if I can pull in Bridget Jones's I'm pretty sure your medical peep wouldn't have been a bit fazed at yours... in fact he may even have liked it (or, alternatively, be in the pub now, describing them to the other punters )
  17. Abby back in my days of pub valuing (sorry if i'm teaching you to suck eggs) but the way to get punters in regularly for good money and thus increase the books and the value of the pub, was to bring in teams (if you can bear it!) - pool, snooker, footie and darts... those students might just go for it if you haven't got teams already but think about introducing some... brings in regular money on regular days too. Again sorry if you aren't thinking of doing such a horrible thing!! Hope tomorrow night is much better for you!! I wish I was down the road, we'd be there most nights (hic!) )
  18. slightly OT but I'm a brownie leader. Last week we were visited by a fostered child who will start with us next week. She was removed from her home 2 years ago, cannot read and is prone to adult sexualised behaviour (aged 8!!). She is just adorable, and from what we can gather, saved from a life of depravity. Anyone who fosters is, in my opinion, truly truly admirable and if you can take a child like she was and turn her into the child she is today, even with her ongoing problems, into one who is secure and safe and, above all, has a future, then I say go for it. It'll be worth it.
