  1. That is fantastic - pure joy to watch. Thanks for posting it Fee
  2. Still working on the pics but Dylan has been to the Groomers yesterday( I know on a sunday but I found a lovely lady who offered to do him on her day off as he was in dire need) and is beautiful now- like a new dog much happier wags his tail jumps about & is generally much happier! Also had a breakthrough on house training - he is now going on the training pads/newspapers and not just randomly any where he feels like ! Yeah!! My carpets have never been shampooed so much. He can now go up & down stairs too! As I type he is tackling a tartar control chewy thing after much deliberation as to what it was. Looking forward to taking him out in a wk after 2nd jabs. Am also trying to get some sponsership money as I have now agreed to Join Michelle & Amy on their Ghost wkend to raise funds for Oldies so looks like I have a busy month ahead !
  3. Just wanted to say that our latest family member Dylan the Lhasa Apso, is safely installed in my home after being rescued from an Irish Puppy Farm ( ex stud dog?) via my local rescue and has had his first bath and a sorely needed hair cut and lots of TLC Welcome home Dylan Thanks to Fiona @ Oldies for the support , will post pics once I can get him to stay still ! Caroline
  4. Can't seem to do anything with map so please add me! Caroline Crick DE78LR Home checks & Fosterer Thanks
  5. Poor little man! Can you say what kennels he is in as I work in Derby & live close by so may be able to pop in & see him & update you all. Does he need a foster place via the Oldies Club?? Caroline
  6. I am lost for words - Its just so appalling - The owner needs putting down if they ever find them. Run free now you poor thing.
  7. Thank your girls for the eggs, we throughly enjoyed them for brunch today Good to meet you & your dogs too. Caroline
  8. We have a proper BBQ with coals that we take camping so can cook for whoever needs one. Also have a small gas one if its needed as well. We will bring what we usually eat so the children are happy but will bring extra to put in the BBQ kitty as well. Is anyone doing desserts???
  9. Ooh Fresh Eggs !! Can we have half a dozen please? Thanks Also I too wondered do we bring own food for BBQ if not how does it work please??
  10. As we are posh campers in our caravan we will have a BBQ with us & a large awning if it rains lol ! Am looking forward to it now it looks like we will still have our lovely foster George with us still so you will all get to meet him too !
  11. OOOH Good Idea! Two car stickers for me please
  12. We have a dog flap & have had for years- a legacy from the times pre children when we both worked full time & had at least one dog sometimes 3! We do have a secure garden & live in a cul-de-sac though. We have never had any break -in's, insurance problems/ queries & lock it when we go away on holiday, to be honest I don't give it a second thought any more, even visiting dogs use it ! All our older dogs have slept a lot like Fee said so they are fine to be left for a while but some do prefer company i must admit. We currently foster for the Oldies club and have a dog of our own who has taught our foster dog how the flap works very quickly so they use it even when we are in!! Obviously the bonus is that you don't get woken in the night if they need the loo & if you do go out to work the dogs don't have their legs crossed when you get in ! Lol Hope that helps. Caroline
