Yes it really is that different Fee , I took one look at it and thought yeah right like thats going to go through my dogs coats especially Storms it looks like the prongs are far too short but boy was i wrong compared to the slicker brush i usually use it is amazing , i thought at first it would cut the coat but it does'nt it strips out the undercoat really really well. It wont remove matts if your dog gets any but it is amazing at taking out all the dead hair and well worth the money . It is much better than any rake i have used on my dogs and you dont have to bath them everytime you use it i would recommend it for any dogs short or long haired . Fiona xx

I am impressed with Dial a dog wash , Akira is not so impressed though :laugh: Mel just went out to have a peek at her and she is looking thoroughly miserable poor puppy How do i know that she will get her revenge by going straight out the back garden when shes finished and roll in the muckiest bit she can find ? :laugh: Fiona xx

Corrine , you wont be letting Danny down if you cry , he knows how much you love him and you have given him the best time of his life , crying while he passes over to the bridge is not a bad thing sweetie its just another expression of your for him which shines through every post you make I remember giving Taz all kinds of things he should not have got in the days before i let him go to the bridge , as you say theres no harm in a wee bit of chocolate now , i am glad you had the last wee while to make an extra special efffort with him , even though i know all your dogs are spolied rotten with all the love you give them all the time Giving Danny permission to go in peace is the last kindness you can do for him even though it tears your heart out , he knows its his time to go onto the next journey and he will be whole agian waiting until you meet again at the bridge. Thanks Edith You know me blow my stack have a rant then im ok again that particular phone call just riled me , some people are just like a resource guarding dog with a bone and i have had plenty of practise with that as you know :laugh: As for the principles of Reiki , i do try but sometime i just cant help getting angry when i know im are hitting my head off a brick wall , people who have no understanding and very little knowledge of a situation and still keep going on and on talking rubbish and not listening to explainations really are not worth it and usually i dont let it get to me but i guess today was just one of those days Fiona xx

I have to agree with Edith on this , i would highlyrecommend this site i was up there a couple of weeks ago and it is a lovely site with lovely walks for the dogs . I am lucky it is not very far from me , so i am hoping to get back up very soon for another chill out Fiona xx

Awww Corrine i am so sorry hun you are really going through the mill right now with your fur babies It is a horrible situation you are in but you know Ria better than anyone and i know you will do the right thing for your baby , yu have a lot of support on here which will help you get through what ever you decide to do . When Taz was so ill i refused to put him through any more tests , he was not old by any means but he deteriorated so quickly i could not put him through more intrusive tests . It is always such a personal desicion but we make it for the right reasons what ever way we choose to go . Stay strong and loads of love to you and yours Fiona xx

I have just had a phone call thats making me feel a bit like either shouting loudly or laughing hysterically , i cant quite decide which Why cant people just for once actually listen when you speak to them ? It is not like im the quietest person on the planet even on the phone , i speak pretty good English when i speak slowly and precisely its not that hard to understand me surely ? How many times can you answer the same question and repeat yourself that you are not willing to get into something which is nobody elses concern ? Just a couple of minutes away Alicia we are really lucky where we are we have a few beaches to choose from and also a lot of parks Akira loves the water but Storm is a real wuss he seems to be scared of the wee ripples of the sea on the beach Fiona xx

For anyone that needs or just wants one today , there seems to be so many rotten things happening to lots of people at the moment I am not a happy bunny this morning at all i am sick to death of people who should know better not doing what they know they should be doing , which makes life just that little bit harder for other people :mad1: Fiona xx

What lovely pics , its lovely to see them having so much fun I have laminate flooring and at first the dogs were not sure about it at all so i got them some paw wax and it helped them until they got used to it , i also use it for when its icy outside so they dont slip , i cant put rugs down because no matter what i do Storm thinks they are for ragging , the silly boy does not play with toys or tuggies but he loves ragging rugs :laugh: Fiona xx

He was really happy Alicia, i did have a few eyes filling up moments , it was just so lovely to see him interacting with so many different dogs and not so much as a grumble from him , well until Rufus kept trying to hump him and even then he took a lot before he told him off Meeting a wee Staffy Pup Edith , i think it was the first time she had ever met a dog that size and she was not sure what to make of him so submission seemed like her best option , Storm was really gentle with her , even if it does look like he was eating her :laugh: With Mel at college and working now Cher , shes hardly ever home through the day so Akira loved her one on one time with her , Mel was playing with her out in the garden for a while , did a wee bit of training with her then when they came in Mel left the back door open so Akira could toddle in and out herself while she was guddling in the kitchen , which you know is not an option with Storm or i would not have a kitchen left :laugh: Akira and Storm are walked together all the time , so leaving either of them home alone is not an option and they dont get me or Mel to themselves very often so today was a nice chance for them both to get some individual attention which they both thoroughly enjoyed Fiona xx
