  2. Just to add it's Lloyds Pharmacy, didn't realise I'd missed that
  3. Apparently Lloyds are selling worming treatment and possibly flea treatment as well for 50p.If anyone has one near by please pop in and ask - they are being kept behind counter - as I'm sure Dogstar could use these.I don't have one near me and have seen this on FB so not sure how true it is but wirth a try if anyone is passing by

  7. Not long back from my annual weekend at the HWAR kennels and then the dog show on Sunday, was a good crowd, didn't do as well as last year but took £104.50 so not too bad.People just aren't spending at stalls right now.Was great to see Amy and Tracey there as well with Louie and Billy and was grateful for assistance from Cat fostering sweet little Daisy, nice to have an OC dog at the stall
  8. Gosh haven't been in here for ages.Off to Herefordshire on Friday for HWAR show being held Sunday, staying at their kennels in old caravans, great weekend and the show is in the most beautiful grounds.Doing Oldies stall of course, just hope the weather is kind,it's usally abysmal for this show

  10. Very very disappointing result today, took just £38.50 - not much for 8 hours work and a difficult site as no vehicle access was available so everything had to be carried to the stall.Am so disappointed. It was extremely hot and most people who came stayed in the shade of the many trees and just entered their dogs in the classes. Not a single player for the Teddy Tombola and very few for ordinary Tombola either.Did get a fair bit of interest in OC so not a total waste of time.I was asked to judge Best in Show was very tricky but the winner of Best Child Handler had such an amazing rapport with her 2 year old Bull Terrier I chose her,she was so pleased and proud of her dog Heres the stall, and Duncan and Trixie were little stars, very vocal during the Police dog demo though to my embarrasment

  14. I forgot to bring my camera lead so no pics at present.Bo Peep was a lovely site, shame there was no B&B etc but it was fine coming for the day - and they didn't charge either.I did love wee OC Trixie what a sweet little dog My Trixie was much more chilled out than I thought she would be,it was Duncan who had a snap at Jack Thanks for arranging the games too Amy,good fun.Looking forward to next years
  15. Oh she's lovely welcome home Megan.

  19. Used ice lollie sticks and just wrote the number on - easy peasy.Make sure numbers match of course,as I was given a huge bag of cuddly toys by another stall holder I was able to keep adding to the box and putting the sticks back in again. In a plastic tupperware box with the foam used for flower arranging This pic shows the boxes better - and the little box of sticks just above the big teddy
  20. s very sorry,what a lovely lad he was
  21. Worked really well,I usually switched tickets around anyway when the children wanted a specific toy - this way they chose themselves.Had 3 very big toys for number 1 and lots of smaller ones for 3 - and that was the box they wanted to win oddly enough bought 3 storage boxes from ASDA with lids so if it did rain I could quickly cover the toys up anyway - plus I can use the boxes for storage myself.
  22. Did a variation of the sticks for Teddy Tombola.Numbered the sticks 1,2 AND 3 - and 3 boxes as well. The children then chose whatever soft toy they wanted from the matching box.Freed up so much space on the tables plus no fiddling around trying to match ticket numbers - or folding up tickets either - very pleased with how easy it was to do.
