  1. Taylor has dragged a back foot today for the first time ever, dragged it so the top of her foot scraped the ground .... so immediately she was bed resting for at least 2 days (she is diagnosed hip and back knee arthritis) the little un still needs walking , which means leaving Taylor alone. How do you guys deal with differing walk needs without feeling guilty ?
  2. Thanks guys. It really helps hearing others opinions particularly as ones own head can start accusing self of being a terrible mother Im much like the rest of you I shant go out and leave them after work ever ! And even when Im off for the day if I leave them for long I get tetchy (so many that are not parents think its "sad") One of my friends that works in the previous job is going to do a little with them when shes off during the week and I got up at 6 today walked them for 30 and when I got in from work at 4 they were spark out I also think they will benefit from a steady routine rather than odd hours here and there. I want them to be happy cos lets face it they give us so much I want to do my very best by them. Thank you again I studied your replies like a hawk
  3. Guys, Im whining again I have just been offered a job with a fledgling business that promised to be a big business. At the moment I work for a big business but very unsocial hours. However the hours are very good for the dogs at present as I work into the night or from very early in the morning shifts. 6 on 3 off. (have to mention here the existing jobs hours have just been changed to a different start time every day of the week. ie earlies = 7 , 10, and 9 then 1400, 1200, and 1615 The new job is 9 to 6 monday to friday which is bringing forth the possibility of a social life for me (and dogs lol) but Im once again , worrying about them. What do you think? they would be on their own 5 days rather than 6 in a row ... it would be throughout the day rather than early or late. The positive is we would have set days and evenings off so I can do social or training classes with them and there would be more of a routine. I would be able to let them out at lunchtimes and pay a walker to come play with them or take them out a couple of times a week, walk them in the mornings and after work I hate to think I am letting them down in any way but as it stands just now all I do is work. Do you think they would notice much? Am I being paranoid or do you think I should stay put. I NEEeeeeeed some lovely fugee wisdom before I drive self crazy with worryings

    I'm Angry

Iv written a letter to the park , see what you think ? Dear Sir or madam I am writing in the hope that you will rectify this situation as soon as possible. I was walking in Warley woods on the afternoon of April 27th and my little dog was attacked by a dog belonging to one of the people taking part in your cleaning up the woods programme. My dog is not the type to cause problems and was innocently walking past a bench where your “helper†was sitting with her dog. Her dog then launched itself at my little dog and gave him a puncture wound in his back before pushing him to the ground, banging his head off the concrete and making him scream with fear. As I looked towards the owner confused she explained it away by saying “ he came too close to the bench which she was sitting on†I am disgusted with her response. The excuse that she made for that behaviour is sickening , does that mean that if a toddler wandered up to her and said dog the animal would be justified in attack. It is a public park and I expect myself, and my innocent animals to be safe in that park. I am considering taking further action against either yourselves or the guilty party. I am very angry about the fact that you allow such irresponsible people to act on your behalf I will await your response

    I'm Angry

What do you think of this guys ? Walking the dogs today Paddywak was dragging behind a bit and got attacked by a dog. It had him on his back on the floor and really got him till he screamed. The reason ... because It was sat on a park bench with its owner and he got a little too close. I am so angry , it really upset him and he now has a puncture wound on his back. I looked towards the owner who said "she was guarding the bench" ... not a "sorry" or a "is he ok???" Im too nice and now wish i had punched the woman square in the jaw I feel like going back up there and attacking her !
