Dumbo has been found again according to another forum so he is safe at least. Such a pity this had to happen just when he finally found a home. Don't know if he will be returned there now the people have learned the hard way how careful they need to be, but I do hope he can find a place of his own for his senior years.

Couldn't afford to adopt another right now but if fostering were an option then Dusty, Skippy, Benji, Deefer would fit in great with my two.....and probably several others waiting at the moment too.

Glad he is doing better now and hope he continues to do well.

He could come here....but there is no way we could get down there for him. Plenty of soft beds and one friendly 9 year old greyhound girlie for company. We have had several oldies over the years, have space and are actively looking for an oldie to foster or maybe just adopt permanently. Checking out one or two other possibilities but nothing definite for them yet so there is still time if needed.

I think we might be a bit 'out on a limb' for you here by 'The Wash' in Fenland......but I'll watch out for any events which might be suitable for the Oldies Club.
