The final decision as to whether to prosecute or not lies with the vet really. If the vet that saw the dog does not think it suffered then the rspca CANNOT prosecute. That is how the law is worded as frustrating as it is.

Both dogs have been rehomed and came round remarkably quickly, very sweet dogs the fact its been adjourned for sentencing means the court are considering serious punishment, they will most likely lose there jobs(if they dont im starting a petition on here!) and no doubt have a rough time off their peers

its amazing to be slated for doing too much and yet not enough on the same programme!. As far as im concerned if you are worried about any child no matter what your job you should raise your voice, too many children have died due to people turning a blind eye. When i raisied a child protection matter i was so glad i did as the child had been left to fend for herself for two weeks when parents went on hoiliday, child was 7 years old

thanks jackie- i must learn how to post pics! thats my girl shes now called inca but her full name is august spirit of inca have always had coloureds before (will get jackie to post a pic of my boy too!!!)so an appaloosa is a real change but i went to see her and was smitten at 8 weeks old she is bold and friendly and lads on a hlater and picks her feet up will stop with the proud mom bit now!!!!!
