  1. Well done Fluke Keep on getting better lovely boy
  2. Flora you don't half know how to keep your family and fan club on their toes! Glad vet thinks she's ok for the op - and hope it's nearer to 2 weeks than 8 as I'm sure once you have made the descision to go ahead it's better to get it done than hang around. Glad you are enjoying your lamb bone Flora Lots of love from the boys up here and their mum
  3. That sounds really promising - and vets sound pretty switched on too Still loads of good thoughts for your special girl
  4. Get well soon little Fluke Loads of good thoughts coming your way
  5. Silliest thing I've heard in a long time. The amout of support or thoughts a person, dog or whatever warrents has nothing to do with the amout they post! I know some threads get more attention than others but I know people here are thinkg about people even if they don't post. So for the FooDog and for you and the rest of the family. Thoughts for little Harvey for Michelle for the interview and for everybody else - I've missed loads as I've had my aunt and 16 and 12 year old cousins staying for a long weekend - they went yesterday and I'm still a bit
  6. No I't not very exciting, just shorter (tho still log as it was very long ) Awwww Spill!!!!! How lovely!!
  7. Happy Gotcha Day Beautiful Miya!!! I love the last pic she looks so relaxed and happy She wouldn't get lost in a snowdrift in those pjs!! Says she who's dog has multicoloured sheep pjs!!
  8. Read on another forum that there is an outbreak of Parvo in Derbyshire, Notts, Leics, and some of Staffs. Don't want folks to panic but thought people might want to know.
  9. for Abby - to help you feel less pathetic and warm you up! Could you get a heater for the bathroom so at least the room is warm when you have a shower? Yantan for the pics - but Ruby's workmates sound like a lovely bunch Yay!! Have a wonderful time - you deserve a good break!! Poor Glen When Finn had a sprained shoulder I did lots of training with him to tire his mind out (or try to ) as he was bouncing off the walls!! I've had my hair cut and the lovely hairdresser did what I asked and I was only in there 35 mins!!! Amazing!!
  10. for those missing their mums - I know that one Have fun at the husky racing Phebe - are you taking Wispa? Might give her some rather frightening ideas !! I'm getting my hair cut later - I'm having quite a lot chopped off as I haven't had it cut in 18 months - and it's friday the 13th
  11. I was just thinking the same! Gorgeous boys You've done a fantastic job with Pickle, he's fantastic!

  15. Pudding She is beautiful Wendy! I hope everything works out for her, you and the boys. I think she looks very like Sarah's Bran in that first picture
  16. Flora for you all - you know where I am
  17. Too much to properly catch up on so please have as appropriate, but special to Jules for tomorrow and Abby and a very big for Amy! Billy is doing well but is getting very bored at only getting 10 minute walks - goodness knows what he'll be like in a months time Nearly got stuck in the stables car park at agility tonight so am glad to be home!
  18. I'm really lucky with my boys as they are generally pretty good without much input from me but a few things I am strict with - and extend to visiting dogs are: No jumping up. Ever. Wait when the car boot is opened until I say it's ok to go No begging whe I'm eating - I'd like you to stay on your beds but it's ok if you are settled elsewhere. No giving titbits during/near human meal times - this is one for the hoomans! Stop barking when I say so (I say thank you so I'm quite polite!!) They are allowed on the sofa when they like but should get off without fuss when asked to (Billy hates this and gives me evils but does it!) Finn has to wait until I say ok to eat his food as when he was little he'd try and mug me, but Billy has always been polte so I never bothered with this for him.
  19. Lovely pics, but this one of Mal is just wonderful
  20. Happy Birthday Di Have a lovely day!!
  21. Glad you have a diagnosis and a plan of treatment. Good to hear Alfie is recovering well even if he did slide off the sofa
  22. Happy Birthday !! Hope you are having a lovely day!
  23. Welcome home Charlie I couldn't think of a better birthday present
  24. Claz Must have been scary. Glad it's nothing too serious though. My mum had gall stones - I think she had her gall bladder removed but this was 20+ years ago so likey that things have moved on I think she found some foods triggered pain, so it might be worth going for a bland, low fat diet and keep a food diary to see what might trigger problems. Take care of yourself
