  1. I am sure I read about a lost springer yesterday on another site , but cannot access yet as it is house keeping. Almost certain it was Liver & White & a male, but I think it was older. As soon as I can get back on I will have a look
  2. I won this but Postman Pat has not bought it to me yet 80 Pet on Board Sign Think I pm'd my address but will do it again.
  3. I made my payment by Paypal & pm'd the reciept a couple of weeks ago but have not recieved my item, nor do I appear to be on the payment recieved list has it been lost in the admin trail somewhere? I can pm someone proof again if that is required.
  4. I paid by Paypal a few days ago & pm'd you the reciept. Have you recieved it please?
  5. Run Free Zico over the bridge to Yorkie Land where you can get up to more mischief with all the little Yorkies that are there. Say hello to Yorkie Snr. Sleep tight little man. What a stunning photo with him in the crocus field
  6. I agree tongues & eyes every time. What a beautiful face Here is my little one's tongue
  7. You have my email address if any of you wish to continue this/see photos. But as you are all well respected people there really is not a lot of point in me continuing this. I will answer any further questions via email & you can publish my replies. Visits made by yourselve were done several months after the 'clean up' I have a email reply from the RSPCA stating that this has now been passed to their legal department. Why would they do that if all was well?
  8. No I do not feel it ok to ask for a standard fee for a dog with issues. If you look on my site you will see a little one called Amber who I have spent a considerable amount of money on so far is up for adoption with no fee required. This is because she has issues & will need the 'special' home that to me is more important that banging out dogs for £150 that some of which were clearly ill. & in answer to another question yes if I foster for another rescue I get paid just like I pay my foster carers. If you want to name the other 'rescue' please do.
  9. Cleaning up is one thing, doing it because you know that you are going to be visited is another. If all was well there would be no need to 'clean up' & yes it is great that things have improved, just a pity that 'rescued' dogs suffered. & when it went to fetch the dog I was asked for NO ID, proof of address or references???? I had to give them my address so they could collect the dog. NO rescues are perfect - not even yours. ?? Did not realise that you had been to mine???? But you are most welcome anytime, I do not even need any warning. ACO's visit me on a regular basis if they are in Grantham on a purely social call, you can to.
  10. Why dont you just ask me as it is I you are refering to? I was asked to take the dog in question & find a home for him as they did not have anyone on their books that wanted a Yorkie. I collected him. After spending several days/baths cleaning him up & working on his issues, one of my members was keen to adopt the dog even though he had 'issues', I then called MR & asked if there was any vac card as I had possibly found a home for the dog. It was then I was told that I was only 'fostering' the dog!!!! & that the gentleman would have to go through them & pay £150 for a 'dog' with issues. He at this point declined as he said that he was not prepared to pay that much for the dog that would need vaccinating/microchipping at his expense. I then told MR that I did not foster FOC as I have my own rescue & if I ever need a fosterer I pay them (I can prove I pay them if you wish?) She laughed & said that I was to return the dog. I told them to come fetch him. I actually sent him back with a collar, lead, a toy that he had adopted & a blanket. As for 'throwing' the dog back, well the bloke that fetched him was terrified of the dog & said that he would crate 'it' up!! & held the dog at arms length. Wish I had kept the emails/txt msgs that I recieved from MR. As you say "seeing as heresay evidence seems to be admissable" I had no axe to grind as at the time I was not aware of all the other poor dogs that have suffered. Every one is entitled to an opinion. This is mine. In answer to your question 'Yes' Totally unacceptable.
  11. I still have the 'Photo graphs' of the dog that was handed to me. Would you like to see them. As for the dead pups, wold you not want to know why the suddenly died?? Could have been a serious infection that may have spread & put other dogs in danger? The dog I 'took' in had to have more than 3 baths to dislodge the poo from his back end!! Is that acceptable. It was not a dog that had 'just arrived that day or the day before but several weeks before!! Not bitching, just saying what I personally saw/took in/heard. Just like you say what you saw/heard. Are we all telling lies including several differeny vets from all over the country? The RSPCA Inspector told me when he called me to update me that it was clear to him that they had 'cleaned up'.
  12. I said that talks off forum. When invited Mr refused to respond on forum.
  13. There was several weeks of off forum talks betweem MR & DP. It was only when all was totally denied even though there are photos/vet reports from several vets/eye witness accounts that it went public. Plenty of opportunity was had by all to sort things out off forum, they were not accepted.
  14. Did not realise that I had actually 'quoted' you! I said that & as for other rescues being investigated I hope to doG they are too if they are ill treating/neglecting animals. Apologies for leaving out in the same way part as I believe that they should be if they too are/have practiced in the manner that MR have/do. Why do you hope not anyway? Would you not wish to see that justice was done & people speak for the animals that can't?
  15. Well looks like all that has happened is acceptable & lets all go & have a nice cup of tea shall we?? Is that not what us british do when things go wromg, but we are not big enough to admit it??? & as for other rescues being investigated I hope to doG they are too if they are ill treating/neglecting animals.
  16. Stop shipping over van loads of dogs would be a good start. And reply in person to the people that have had sick/dying/dead dogs from there. Some have even sent recorded delivered letters & still not response from MR or the offer of compensation for the several thousand pounds that some spent I the first week or so of adopting a dogs from there. That would be the least they could do. An explanation of how different names/breeds appear on the 6 week free insurance' certificates??
  17. Of course I called them, in fact several times. They said they would look into it!!!!!! Unfortunately at that time they did not really see the urgency of a visit as I had cleaned him up. I know several ACO's & Inspectors as I was treasurer for Lincs East branch for several years & they said that as long as there was adequate food & water there really was not a lot they could do at that time (this was several weeks before others came forward).
  18. I am probably not welcome in posting what I am about to, but I would like to add my side of things please. I have been there (before the great 'clean up' - RSPCA Inspectors words not mine) & seen with my own eyes what was going on/wrong. I took in a dog from there that was in an apalling state, he had poo welded to his rear end that ws not 'fresh' from the day of collection, in fact it took severl hours of standing hm in the shower a gently teasing the poo from his bum. (I have photographic evidence, but as some one has said in so much as 'photos lie!!' & also my neighbours who were horrified at his condition), his eyes were also very badly matted/gummed, again took nearly 2 days of gently washing them with warm water & cotton wool pads. I have got several pm's from an ex volunteer that are dated before all the 'horrors' became public telling me of the 2 pups that died & they were just buried in the field, no PM or even a vet to see why they died. A horse with an inbedded head collar, dead sheep that were just burnt on a fire etc (if anyone would like a copy of these please ask & I will send them to you off forum). Heard a volunteer being told to use 'Billys' vaccination card for another dog that was being collected that day. True they do not live in luxury, but many offered help before again all the stories became public & they were turned down. Why??? One can only assume that if help was accepted a lot of the dogs would have gone to other rescue thus a loss of revenue?? They had plenty of warning that the RSPCA & DT was going to visit, amazing what you can do with time on your side. I can honestly say I have never adopted out a sick dog nor a dog that has died & if you can tell of others that have then they too should be investigated in the same way. My doors are always open, all reciepts/bills/vaccination records/micro chip records etc are always available to be inspected & I can offer all the names/numbers of those that have adopted/visited for anyone to ask questions. If I ever thought for one minute that I was in trouble I would ask for help not allow dogs to die. Ignorance/greed/stupidity there is no excuse for what happened. Simple. For those who seem to feel that 'we all make mistakes' doG forbid they are mistakes like the ones that happened at MR & are obviously not animal lovers. I do not live in a glass house I live in the real world.
  19. Phew thats a relief. I thought in my old age I may actually be banned from somewhere for the first time in my life Bit disappointed now . Thank you for letting me know that being a Yorkshire Terrorist lover has not led me to having a warning slapped on me after all someone has to put up with the 'undercover Rotties'
  20. Have I done something wrong, but I have just noticed that I seem to be the only one that has a 'warning' bar under me???? I know it says 0%, but not sure why I have it? Anyone! Is it because I am a newbie as I have found I dont seem to be able to start new topics in certain areas?
  21. Hi & firstly may I apologise as I have just realised that I have been very rude & not said hello to everyone before posting So sorry. Well as I am sure some of you would have gathered by know I am a Yorkie Nutter (well someone has to be ). I run a small rescue centre for all little Yorkies & other small breeds (they have to be as Charlie cat is under the misguided conception that all dogs are small ). I have 3 Chinese Crested Hairless that are permanant residents as when I got them they were very abused/traumatised so I failed there as a fosterer, I also am owned by a 7mth Yorkshire Terrorist (not a sp mistake, he is a terror ), oh & 3 rescue cats. I have fostered about 7 chinese Crested Hairless & Powder Puffs that were labelled as unhomable & they are now happily with their new mummies & daddies & since Christmas already have taken in & rehomed 7 Yorkies for various reasons. They are a passion of mine & when I lived in South Wales I rescued & rehomed over 280 Yorkies & a few other small breeds many of which were 'Puppy Farm' ex breeders & also Newport Pound would pass them to me. I am unable to do my rescue work on such a large scale as I did then (I was rich then ) as they all live in the house with us, but will never turn any little one away. Thank You, you have been a great audience & I will be back soon.
