.....when you have had a good day, things are going well, you look around and hug your dogs and think "I'm truly blessed". I'm having one of those nights. Danny & Ria have been side by side with their after dinner chews, peaceful, happy, I'm looking at them and thinking they are wonderful. Danny's health seems to have improved, he's looking better than he has looked for 6 months. It's wonderful! Ria is relaxed and contented, lying here beside me as I write this. Yes, I've got that feel good factor, wish I could bottle it up and send some to everyone.

Mickey looked a little gray around the whiskers and didn't remember his name when he got off a plane and crawled into the arms of his owner Tuesday. But that made no difference to Kari Mitchell who fought back tears in the Kansas City, Missouri airport Tuesday. "How did you get to Montana? It's cold up there!" she said as she caressed her long lost dog. Mickey didn't answer. And even the animal shelter which found him last week couldn't tell Mitchell how her stocky dog ended up roaming aimlessly in rural Montana. But Mitchell said she wasn't bothered by the mystery: she's just glad to have Mickey home. "I just hope whoever was taking care of him just knew how much we loved him," she told KSHB-TV news as she cuddled the black and white pup in the airport arrivals area. Outbreak of Parvovirus in Dudley area. Two dogs have died and three others ill, all in the Stourbridge area of the Black Country. This is a terrible disease, I'm so sorry for their por owners.
