  1. Like ericc I was reading phil richman,s new book.Just love his main charactor merrily watkins a hereford lady vicar who is also an exorist very eerie thrillers.Made me look at hereford in a different way. Excellent books when you get used to his style.I have them all.
  2. hope this little man has found a home as so tempted but with two pups know its not fair
  3. blimey what social services do you know? We had to fight for every penny even to what we were intitled for our children and still do. Its in order to pay for behaviourist and many very expensive but I know very capable people who could take a difficult dog and one to one change it round this is the type of thing I think needs looking at.
  4. for many years the same thing was said about fostering childen and finally the powers that be realised that it was a professional job and in many cases and the fosterers had had almost as much training as the social workers and in many cases a dammed more knowledge. What is wrong with being paid for your skill. We paid vets behaviourists plenty.? So now in certain cases its a paid job to care for difficult children and income tax is paid.( guess who did it for free for thirty years and still in debt because of it). There will be excellent people with great knowledge who can foster and sort out difficult dogs but because shall we say stuggle on low income maybe disabled or older welcome the chance to help animals and their income at the same time. They would have loved to work in kennels but not able to. It would be up to the rescue to vet carefully and do the necessary checks but its far better to have long term difficult dogs sorted and rehomed from a professional foster home than a kennel where they may never have had the chance. The ordinary foster of a lovely little puppy for example would be the same as before but still all fosters should be vetted carefully.
  5. to really understand these poor girls is difficult unless you have dealt with them.It breaks your heart to see little girls acting like sexy women they are not your normal children and need a great deal of work to help them overcome taught behaviour . The youngest child I had was three years old and even know it scares me to think of her and pray the adoptive parents looked after her and her brother also abused and they grew to adulthood free of the past.
  6. thanks for the support its really helps
  7. I am so sad at the moment. My son and his wife broke up and she ended up with the house and him paying 80% og his wages to his children no complaints about that but she is now dictating when and how he can see the children and if its a family party or wedding on our side of the family will not let the children go even his 40 birthday party. at the same school the cousins are not allowed to speak which is horrid for them as only six years old and cannot under stand why. The marriage broke down due to just falling out of love and neither party has anyone else but it breaks our heart that her family are allowed to have the chidlren and we are not and yet when babies I was the the one that had them three times a week while they worked. Son takes the whole family away on holiday abroad ex wife included and yet not allowed come to our caravan. All we want is to be their grandparents and have the same contact as their mothers family.
  8. This may offend but think it needs to be said. We have had family of girls that would take down their kickers and open their privates and offer them to men and boys. Because that is what they thought was right thing to do with people that was nice to them. They had been taught this behaviour, The family concerned was helped and offered all assistance no court nothing no punishment. The children will get a few hundred pounds when 18 and no other help has ever been offer. I could go on and on but crying for my kids as their are now
  9. I could scream and scream at the judges. I have fostered six children now who have suffered sexual abuse and know that sometimes their behaviour is unacceptable and has to be relearnt with care are love.It has been very difficult at times for my sons and husband to cope with this kind of action but bless them they showed the children how real men behave and pleased to say that most have been able to lead normal lives. What is the judge thinking of it can never be the childs faults never.

    Class

As I understood it is your father,s occupation that says which class you are in. That makes me back to the sixteenth century working class.Luckily have broad shoulders and happy to hold very one up. But read recently that there will soon be an underclass of people not a nice thought.
  11. Just had a bit of local news. Fifiteen odd years ago a six yr old boy was snatched and raped last week a man was arrested and charged.Files like this are not closed,
  12. we had a group of girls push their way into a home to assault our daughter we rang the police but the call went though from nottingham to leeds call centre the lady did nothing and not even passed it on to police, a few weeks later cat was put in hospital by these girls again the police did not even come . So we called the local councillor and the local m.p. things then moved and we had a change with the girls arrested and charged with both incidents.Basically the calls never got passed the call desk.Someone did not think it important enought.
