  1. Hi, Well we have been together 7 years on the 6th april (few dys ago) & we celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary on the 25th May this year We do have our moments when i could cheerfully strangle him & he does have a few issues that means it sometimes feels ive got 3 kids here but on the whole he isnt a bad bloke really How can i complain...he lets me have dogs when he is scared of them & buys me cars sarah
  2. Id prefer a mouse mat...at least it would be in front of me 95% of the time sarah
  3. Hi Cher, That is wonderful news you must be so proud of her I bet she will soon grow to love her walks with you sarah

    Wonder Why

Great photos everyone My Amy loves any form of water & always jumps straight in if she can Rock on the other hand wont even step through a puddle let alone anything else sarah
  6. Hi, I know how you feel, my Rocks renewal came through yesterday from them. It has gone up yet another £7 a month, i suddenly have a £70 excess plus the bit that really got me was if i need to take him to an out of hours vet i MUST phone their vet nurses first Im sorry but if its an emergency im not willing to waste what could be precious time finding their number & ringing them up. Needless to say this morning the policy was cancelled & he is now under Animal Friends with my Amy as ive never had any problems with them when phoning or claiming sarah
  7. Hi, Personally i dont rate the halti body harness, i prefer to use the head collars. I tried to walk my Amy in one & just got dragged around by her & ended up on my bum in the mud I did think maybe it was her sheer size & strength but when Mole was about 5 months & alot smaller than Amy i tried her in it & got the exact same thing happen (except the mud ) Didnt even get to try Rock in it as he chewed through it! Mine are rotties though so maybe its because they are just to strong for them sarah
  8. Urm thats my girlie Amy She is a biggun though & off all the vet charts/scales rubbish Luckily my boy Rock is smaller but its serious squish time when they both want a cuddle sarah
  9. This is an old one & we are on the sofa but heres Amy doing her...its my mummy!!! I dont sit on chairs as i get seriously squished I can have both the dogs with me but only when Rock is feeling good on his legs will he get up & i havent managed to get any photos of it yet. sarah
  10. hi, I have been considering changing my Rocks insurance for a while now as last year it went up by £6. Its due in March & as i havent needed to claim of them reading this has definately made my mind up! He will go on the same policy as Amy,ive never had a problem claiming on hers. sarah
  11. hi, I dont think i would ever be without a rotty now I fell in love as a child after meeting my friends big male,i was terrified at first but he soon changed my mind I had to wait until i was 26 before being owned by 1 though & my hubby brought her for me then let me adopt Rock (yes i admit i sulked, stropped & stamped my feet till he said yes ) My soul dog was Sandy who i grew up with. I was 9 when my dad brought him home & he died when i was 20 He never left my side in all that time & knew how i was feeling, when i needed a hug etc. As to his breed well different people had different ideas he was a real allsorts sarah

    Vets Fees

My vets are a bit confusing with prices Im lucky as apart from their boosters mine have only been in once each. I was charged £25 with Amy for a consulation & just under £1000 for her hygroma. That included the xray, drain & actual surgery plus 6 weeks of antibiotics. Her follow-up visits & painkillers were free, as was the extra work under sedation until the drain/stitches were removed. To get Rock neutered it was £15 consultation as he is my 2nd dog, they charged me £125 for the op but nothing for the painkillers & follow-ups. It may have gone up abit as Amys op was 3 years ago & Rockys was about 18 months I do know its £37.30 for their boosters & health check every year The practice i use though is brilliant & regardless of choice i would go anywhere else. sarah
  13. Thats the other one my vet boosters for yearly thankyou i couldnt remember what it was called sarah
  14. Hi, My vet confused me a few weeks ago, i always thought the boosters they had every year were the full whack but they are only part vaccines for lepto & something else (cant remember what) then every third year they are given the full lot again. sarah
