  1. bah humbug its my birthday this month bah humbug etc etc etc
  2. I have a fox living in my garden been there for years so this might be the daughter of the old fax when I first moved in, she is a bit shy and very wary of Cliffy even though the doddery old sod cant see to well and isn't quite as feisty as he used to be yes will post the recipe when I have more time currently at work and my lunch is ending. Its a standard curry base, then you can use different spices to depending on whether you want a masala or a vindaloo its all the same really underneath
  3. Clearly doent know you then Oh and yes curry was gorgeous I had to restrict my portion size as I could have cleared the lot and there are 5 meals in the slow cooker at least
  4. Hello Marion am here prepped a curry last night and its in the slow cooker today ready for when I get home, all made from scratch mmmmmmmmmm
  5. When she comes round tell her there was a minor issue but you managed to remove all of the big toe in one go and there wont be any problems going forward
  6. Definitely better off without her but my personality type would tell her to go shove everything up her ar$e if I saw her again hahaha
  7. so sad to hear about the cat and dog run free at the bridge. Cliffy is fine except his sight is failing fast but he is still pretty active and full of beans. Arm looks like I self harm due to the ministrations of kitten launching herself at it in an attempt to 'kill' it before then falling asleep upside on me purring away to herself
  8. Hi Rachael happy new year over in Guernsey
  9. happy new year to all and hugs for Suzeanna. Cliffy turned 15 on NYE he had a lot of roast chick the greedy so & so then slept n yipped all evening then enjoyed the fireworks going off was like a warzone here but my boy is bulletproof when it comes to noises. Am climbing the walls today, literally - am going to Awesome Walls in Stockport tonight so cant wait to scamper up n down for an hour, haven't done it in a decade hope am still in reasonable shape but will find out later.
  10. My last day in work finishing at 3 today and may not be online over Christmas so a happy Christmas to all with hugs as needed to peep and pets. Will be back in to work on 29th and 30th with Cliffys big 15 on new years eve if I can post pics from home I will do so. stay safe everyone Oh almost forgot to mention I have a poorly arm scratched to ribbons thanks to the ministrations of a cute little kitty kat kitten my friend has, who proceeded to beat up my arm for an hour before falling asleep across it
  11. Hugs for all that need them right now you can always try tinned pumpkin as bland food it does help with dogs, its actually mostly butternut squash really My boy turns 15 this month had him since a 12 week old puppy dog where has that time gone. I would post more pics of him but they are all on my phone, it doesn't hook up with my computer at home properly to put onto photobucket and then save to here..
  12. agreed, but bah humbug to Christmas
  13. almost found myself the new 'owner' of a cat that needed rehoming, thankfully someone has taken her, pretty 9yo all white female, not sure what cliffy would have made of that
  14. I could do with reading glasses now but I haven't got any and am holding off as long as I can, I don't strain to read I just don't read as often as I used to, am the sort that has to ration myself to one chapter a night or I can demolish the whole book in an afternoon or an evening. oh and no snow here at all, little bit of hail last week but only for a few minutes
  15. Hello November, I use whatsapp too !
  16. So sorry for your loss Myrtle, run free Butter
  17. Last time I was in Fox House was about 6 months ago there were a couple of collie cross's in there snoozing, strange as I have always had great service there and the best food served in any pub I have been in ever oh and I was in my walking boots (but they weren't muddy)
  18. The Longshaw estate is lovely have walked there to Burbage Rocks and Higger Tor, as well as abseiling too. I can highly recommend the food at Fox House and its a dog friendly pub to boot with a log fire in the late autumn/winter.
  19. Hiya Kazz nice to see you again. good luck with everything
