I was just about to post a "Waiting for delivery" sweepstake post, when Mr Argos delivery man phones to say they will be here in 10 - 15 minutes They said in their text between 13:00 & 15:00. Impressive huh??

The jumping went well, she got a clear at 2 ft 6 and jumped nicely at just over 3 ft but Lauren had a brain fart and missed a jump The course was a very good little course. They have a show jumping comp at the end of February so will go to that too.

Steve clipped Welina yesterday and Pablo this morning. They were angels He did a great job considering it was the first time he had ever clipped. We are taking Lauren off to her first "real" show tomorrow. It is "only" clear round jumping at a local riding centre, but it is a start. She is taking Welina.

Lauren rode Pablo yesterday, Welina was waiting for the farrier. He was really good considering. This morning, she rode him again and Steve rode Welina down to the big grass field where they had a bit of a blast just to blow away the cobwebs. Then Lauren got on Welina and I got on Pablo and we went for a walk around the block with one of the other liveries. It has been a lovely day here. Heard on the radio on the way home, that the North West might get hit with more snow towards the end of the week

We have been really luckily as we have still been able to turnout most days. The paths on the farm are constatly being cleared by the tractors. I think at a guess, the 29th was the last time I rode too. We have had a bit of rain today and relatively warm (+6). Hopefully another day the same tomorrow and we can ride Sunday. Considering getting Lauren and Steve ride first Self preservation? Oh yes!!!

That song (and others) haunted me on a 3 hour car journey. It was on a Barney the Dinosaur singalong tape! It was when the kids were little, I thought they would be asleep within 15 minutes......oh no, the little sods stayed awake the WHOLE WAY!!!!

Snow that doesn't sound much fun at all Hope your journey home at to Nog's vet appointment is less eventful CV is done I have applied for a job at the new Pandora store in Chester, it just took my fancy. Have also uploaded CV to the Fish4 network. I don't even really know what I want to do.

Steve has gone off to Wrexham for his first day at work. Lauren is back to school today after the three snow days last week......just me, the dogs and the horses then I guess Going to crack on and sort my CV out today, I hate writing them. Makes my last 18 years seem worthless......the joys of following a soldier around the continent moving from s*** job to s*** job, with maybe one or two that you really enjoy but still have to give up

Chips and mayo are very nice!! Me too, a delicacy I picked up during my many years in Germany!! I love chips covered in chicken gravy!!!

When I can, I pick their feet out before I lead them out of the field, Otherwise they slip and slide more over the cobbles.

Sam is shivering on the settee next to me, I have wrapped covered him with the throw. Poor lamb When he is at the farm running around in the snow he doesn't complain it is cold but at home unless it is 30 degrees he is freezing. He is a Cypriot dog through and through.
