  1. I wish I had grass Between them, the 3 dogs and the rain have ensured that I have mud instead
  2. I am only $500 But I have managed to buy my OH now Does that mean I get to tell him what to do?
  3. My "Friends for Sale" doesn't work It just does errors and tells me to try again later...
  4. I've just seen the interviews on Sky - I though Melp, Roger Mugford and another guy (Ryan?) came across well. I was so disgusted with the attitude of the Sky presenter, though, that I've emailed in to say so. He just seemed to ask the same question over and over again, and get irate when he got the same answer. He is clearly not a dog lover.
  5. Ooh, I just discovered facebook. How did I not find this before?
  6. Kudos do nice pet beds, you they are quite thick and you can just hose them off. Max has the orthapaedic one. The only problem is that she doesn't like the shiny material so she has to have a fleece cover on it.
  7. I only don't pick up poo if I can't find it. We have a lot of large fields nearby, and sometimes I see one of the dogs squatting in the long grass a distance away, but when I get to where I thought it was I can't find it anywhere. It's not nice when I have on occasion trodden in it while trying to find it Or worse, trodden in poo someone else has left while trying to find "mine"
  8. I hope whoever did this has to suffer ten-fold. Poor dog
  9. Bella follows me everywhere. Max follows food everywhere. Bella is currently lying next to me yelping because she has put her ball down 2 feet in front of her and she wants me to get it for her Max is in the kitchen "helping" OH to clear up dinner stuff (they are both well trained )
  10. Max has to run backwards and forwards really fast before she can go. If the agility jumps are up, she includes these in her "routine" Bella just goes anywhere and everywhere. Sometimes even while she is walking along if she sees something interesting in the distance

    Synflex

I use Supplex, which has Glucosamine and chondroitin in it, plus MSM, for Max. She has arthritis in one leg due to tearing a cruciate ligament a few years ago. I also started her on cartrophen injections and hydrotherapy at the same time, so I can't say for sure what made the difference, but she's a lot less stiff now than when she started.
  12. Monti the GSD is missing. He ran off in Dorney near Windsor on Friday evening. He is tagged, chipped and tatooed in his right ear. Please look out for him!
  13. I have sent it to you in a pm as I don't know if I can put it on here.
  14. There is a new free paper out in London - London Lite. They were promoting it everywhere today. They have boxes with suggestions for "must do" things in the evenings - page 6 had greyhound racing: "Wimbledon isn't all about tennis you know. Head to south-west London for a night of greyhound racing at Wimbledon Stadium". Plus the address, website, prices, etc. Why do the papers continually ignore all the cruelty that goes on in greyhound racing and keep promoting it as a fun trip out? I have emailed them to let them know my thoughts.
  15. Those look nice I wonder if I could fit a yurt in my garden
  16. Thank You The dogs are Max (on the left) and Bella. Max is about 8 and Bella is about 1 1/2. Big ears was one of the things I looked for when I got Bella The sugar gliders are marsupials. Which is nice because their teeth don't grow so they don't need to chew everything. They do have the sharpest claws though The gliders are called Zippy (at the front) and Doo-Dah. They're not too hard to keep - they have quite a finickity diet (not just hamster mix!) but they are really friendly. They do need to have playtime every day though as they would get upset if they were just left on their own. Mine have their own room with swings and ropes and branches and stuff in.
  17. Hi Everyone, I've just found this place I'm Depurple1 and these are my dogs and my sugar gliders
