  1. James O'Heare Aggression workbook and Brenda Aloff does one too, name escapes me, look on american site called Dogwise for more ideas. I read up as I had a dog with aggression issues and the James O'Heare book was a great manual for me but my inspiration came from a book Bringing light to shadow, which is more of a diary of someone dealing with an aggressive dog. Personally Jean Donaldson's fight was not for me and neither was the Barbara Sykes. But the Turid Rugass was interesting and I do use bits from that even now. Also not sure about recommending another site but, Taking the lead forum, is really useful and lots of people post about books there
  2. This thread and the similar one on Dp is unbelievable, but not surprising I have noticed a trend with MT threads over the last couple of years. But I have to say I am disappointed it happens here too. I thought all rescues would be treated the same here, but from reading this thread, obviously not.
  3. I clicker train and used a mat to teach the down while on the move (from a recall) it's a great way to start teaching the down and lots of fun (but you need to have taught mat, down on mat, wait and recall and put them all together) Hope that makes sense
  4. Just wondered why I can't vote in polls now? I used to be able to, I tried about a week ago and couldn't, just thought it was a fault with the board on that one, but have tried a few since and it' won't let me. I don't post a lot, but I lurk is that why?
