Hi everyone just thought i would update peeps with the news kato is still missing :mecry: . we are growing more concerned with the horrid weather in middlesbrough and freezing temperatures We have contacted the dog warden and the kennels postered the area. also have talked to security guards at the units close to where Kato went missing. have handed out posters of kato to ppl seen out with their dogs. have even spoken to Gypsy's that camp at the other end of the estate left them with a poster of Kato and contact details of who to contact. My dad is partially deaf so even my number has been given out just incase dad don't hear phones. Dad is off back up to the kennels today armed with picture to see if Kato has been handed in or found wondering please everyone possitive thoughts needed thanks for reading a very worried Nikki

Have signed this petition. with my dads dog being missing at the moment i am sure up for longer time in pounds for lost dogs even though we have left a photo of Kato at the pound some ppl can't for their own reasons

Hi thought i would update everyone my dad has contacted the local dog warden and no dog matching Kato has been handed in. We have both phoned the local pounds and nothing there either. Dad has printed posters and placed them up in the area he went missing and walked the route back home postering all the way.(3miles at 64) we have both phoned most of the vets in the area with nothing coming from there either we are just hoping someone somewhere has Kato and he is safe and sound just not had chance to sort things to hand him into the warden. I have sent a picture of Kato to the local dog wardens office in email today just that little bit of hope when the wardens office said it can sometimes take upto 5 days for someone to phone them saying they found a dog so keeping a stiff upper lip at moment we are both ready for it to crash though. Have spoken to my dad tonight and he is getting more and more worried as the days go by. he says he just wants to know what has happened to him. neither of us are able to think the worste even though we silently know its possible we are just keeping our fingers crossed. cheers Nikki

Dad has been to police station this morning and been in touch with the kennels Has been informed dogs lost over the weekend don't get picked up and the police have nothing to do with it. So has been back out this morning first light. have asked if he wants me to go home and help he don't want me to. But have phoned sis this mornin and told her get her bum up there and help him. think dad is thinking he been ran over cos he said this morning he checked all sides of roads on way back to his house this morning I am really hoping he hasn't cos i know he will be sorely missed. Cheers for the messages everyone i just wish we could find him sooner rather than later and safe would restore my faith thanks for the hugs have passed them on to my dad he said tell you all thanks too. have to get a copy of the photo as i am going to make posters to make posters tonight and he is going to print off and stick them all over the town and over the area he lost him Nikki

Cheers told dad earlier to phone them in morning see if he been picked up over night. But thanks for the number i will pass it on to him now thanks for the hugs my heart needs it.. Kato was a pressie for my dad from my late mum. so he is rather distraught at the moment.

Hi everyone just thought i would post this My dads dog KATO has gone missing tonight in Middlesbrough's Dinosoar Park area He is coming up 15 years old (even though he sometimes thinks he is a puppy..) he can be grumpy if the mood takes him but he is not visous. He Is Micro chipped i will as soon as i can get a picture on of him He is a little bit taller than a jack russel terrier beige and white He is wearing a burgandy collar When you look straight at him he looks cross eyed Only dad dont notice that. He was out walkin all his dogs and Kato disapeared If peeps could keep eye open if they out and about in the area would be gratefully appreciated. I am waiting for another call off my dad letting me know my sis is taking a pic off his phone onto hers to send to mine.(how complicated is living 140 mile away from dad as i do) cheers Nikki

Kazz no i am just pleased he lived the last 22 months with someone who loved him dearly.. i knew he was not coming back to mine the day Fee collected him for over xmas the love in all her families eyes was heart warming and then getting the message she was keeping him was lovely. im just as gutted as everyone else when i got the message showin me the link on here. was shocked and broken but no where as broken hearted as Fee and her family Big huge :GroupHug: from all here at mine an :GroupHug: from me to fee and her lovely family

O fee my heart is breaking here Musky was such a love to have when he came in to the care of the oldies club. I know what you mean when you say empty house cos when you took him from mine i felt the same. the tears are rolling down my face trying to write this but big huge hugs to you and yours for all the love he recieved from you when you had him he knew he was loved and cherished that is something you have to hold on to now Run free darling Musky always here in my heart love Nikki

Thanks Angel155 its good to know that there are others on here along with you kirisox I feel absolutely sick to the pit of my stomache at the thought of him going.. i won't have things to occupy my mind as i am sick at home with a work related back injury so i have my dogs the darlings they are but unable to walk them at the moment so have dog walker.. so know i going to be sat here worried sick most of the time.. unless of course i am surfing the net and checking out what going on here and talking on phone to family and friends.. I don't really get on with alot of the families on our estate Not really into gossiping about ppl so stay in my own little cacoon (its safer)

Feel for you Fee.. having just moved home my neighbours have 2 cats and a rabbit the cats think my garden is their loo Megan being Megan Hates cats just as much as male staffies so if i have the back door open i have to sit in garden with her.. Monty hates them but i am working on him but they also have a rabbit.. it escaped last week and poked its head through the bottom of the fence megan nearly died when something rubbed against her so i jumped.. figuring it was the neighbours rabbit i shouted the neighbour Monty spotted it as i could not grab it and he has gone bonkers every time he in garden he goes to the fence where the hutch is leaned against going bonkers.. These neighbours were warned before megan came back from my dads she not into cats and furries (this because i did not have Monty at the time he came couple weeks later) I heard her hubby in garden say "If her dog gets my cats or rabbit he will kill her" I spoke to the wife the other day and told her that its her responcibility to ensure her cats dont come onto my property and have explained i told her how Megan was.. Also asked her if there was a possibility she could move the rabbit away from the shared fencing her hubby later on shouted "They can go **** *** i not changing things round for their dog"keep it on lead or don't let it in garden we were here first so sod em" So being polite told her to check the the law on our rights and come back to me Furious but trying to stop something that could happen easily as they (cats) are coming into my house when i in bed, so now i have to make sure all downstairs windows are closed and the house is secure, Then have to double check rabbit not escaped and cats not around before i let them out.. so big hugs Fee hope you solve your problem good luck

I have to face reality that my hubby is deploying to Afghanistan in 10 days time... Not that listening to the news is making this any easier as he is going to Helmand Province where it seems to be a bit worse than the last time he was there Just wondering what everyone on here's thoughts are here.. Me personally disagree with them being there but wonder if i would think the same if my hubby was not going/involved please give me your veiws
