I think that is always a worry when you get a new dog. I've just got another puppy, full of bounce and full of running around. My other dogs vary from 8 months to almost 15 years, the old ones just don't seem to bother, they sleep, she plays

Thanks Nettie, the rescue isn't a registered charity, I'll google search and have a look

To raise desperate funds for a Rescue, we are looking at having a stall outside one of the large shops. This is the first time we've done anything like this, come up with a couple of idea, kiddies lucky dip, money tins, stickers, info on the Rescue, anybody got any other ideas? Also does anybody know if we would need insurance? Your help/input would be appreciated

Perhaps we/I have learnt a lesson, that, if somebody who knows about puppy farming, can still going to a pet shop and buy a puppy, doesn't that show the shop is tugging at our heart strings. Perhaps, been the person that did this I could help to fuel the cause. I'm quite happy to stand outside Dogs4us in Leeds, and tell people my story, whether other members would be willing for me to do this would be a different matter.
