This seems so apt :

THERE is sorrow enough in the natural way

From men and women to fill our day;

And when we are certain of sorrow in store,

Why do we always arrange for more?

Brothers and Sisters, I bid you beware

Of giving your heart to a dog to tear.

(From The Power of the Dog by Rudyard Kipling)

God speed to the bridge Erwine. Run free and happily with all the others.

To Sarah and Dave I am so sorry, but you will always know that you did the best by him, and he couldn't have had a better last few days than staying at yours. He knew that someone cared and he will take that with him on his journey. Thank you so much for being there, also sending love to Emma whom has been equally involved and torn apart by this tragedy. What a lovely gesture that their son will be named after him. Erwine will live on in more ways than one.

:GroupHug: to you all and a cuddle for Tara.

I've only just read this, I'm SO so sorry Sarah and Dave :GroupHug: :mecry: :mecry:

It's not fair that he only got 2 days with you after having spent all his life in a dark shed. Those 2 days I'm sure have meant the world to him tho. Thank you for giving him love and dignity.

Sleep well little Erwine :wub:
