Maisie (15yr old staff/collie cross) is shedding nearly as much skin as she is hair at the moment! It doesn't seem to be itching or annoying her at all. Did you change her food / give new treats / change washing powder/ get new carpets/etc, etc.............. Adding some fish oil to her diet may help or Evening primrose oil. As she has only got a few teeth she's quite limited in that respect, anyway. and I add a bit of tuna, liver or chicken to her dinner. No change to any cleaning products at all and we only have carpet on the stair and landing. I didn't realise that you could give Evening Primrose Oil to dogs - I'll give that a try.
