Karen Posted April 14, 2006 Report Share Posted April 14, 2006 Freddy came into Bobtails Rescue as a 10 year old bunny. He spent a year at Bobtails and then came home with me as an 11 1/2 year old for his last few weeks or months. Freddy arrived with a few health problems and I would like to think that we helped him manage and made him happy and comfortable for his twilight years. He adapted brilliantly well to being a house rabbit and would rattle the gate to his room if dinner was a bit late in arriving. His snoring was legendry! Freddy's last few weeks or months, turned out to be 17 months and he would have been 13 years old in May. The vet confirmed yesterday that he had cancer and helped him peacefully on his way.
