Spins4me Posted July 17, 2010 Report Share Posted July 17, 2010 OH's birthday today. I haven't got him a "proper" pressie yet because he needs to come with me to choose it - doing that next week. So last night I bought him some bottles of his favourite Crabbies ginger beer, brought them home and stashed them somewhere. Went to find them this morning and ... nothing. Can't find them anywhere. I bought an easter present for my son one year and hid it in a china casserole dish in the dining room. Took me five years to find it again! Happy birthday, other half! I was begining to wonder if I'd imagined buying the stuff but found the receipt and it was on there. Eventually went back to Waitrose to buy some more but they'd sold out - bought some bottles of ale instead. He's been quite happy with it. I'm now convinced I'm on the downward slope to dementia.
