zico's mum Posted June 20, 2010 Report Share Posted June 20, 2010 Wow what a fantastic day for this,weather was truly amazing.Despite the awful publicity - or lack of -it was well attended. I took £89.50 which I'm pleased with,once again a lot of interest in possibility of dogs being rehomed with older relatives and once again the banner confused people who still thought it was for people and not dogs,I really would like one that says rehoming older dogs etc please So pleased with Trixie and Duncan who behaved very well,the only blip being Trixie demolishing 2/3rds of my chicken pasta salad for lunch followed by Duncan later scoffing the delicious chocolate cake from one of the stalls - that'll teach me to leave food in their reach What I've found at all my stalls now is that people just aren't buying items,the games where a prize every time is guaranteed are popular (although not so much the teddy tombola now) but they aren't interested in sale items. Ive got a couple of those buzz games so Im going to take one to my next stall and offer a prize to anyone who can complete the course.
