ailsas mum Posted December 14, 2009 Report Share Posted December 14, 2009 Claire my youngest daughter is an administrator in a carpet shop ( she's on maternity leave at the moment ). A couple of weeks ago someone was delivering a carpet to a house, the carpet cost Claire's boss £1000 but was sold for £3000, boss was told it would cost £500 to insure the carpet so he never bothered. The delivery driver went round a corner and the carpet fell out, instead of stopping the driver went around the block to pick it up. When he got there the carpet was being held by 4 teenage boys who demanded £150 before they would give it back, the boss was called and he did actually turn up with the money and handed it over, the poor lad that was driving the van is seemingly having a hell of a time with all the teasing that's going on.
