chickentikka
I took Joe on the last leg of his journey, he slept all the way on an extra comfy bed I'd put in the car especially for my elderly passenger. I delivered him to his foster home and he met all his new foster brothers and sisters with no problems whatsoever. After a cuppa and a good old chat with noo foster mum and dad, I left him nice and chilled, snoozing away. He'll be fine I hate doing the first pick up parts of a run, many a time I've driven away in tears.
Jacobean
It is difficult collecting them from owners at times. Some times you feel pleased and relieved to get the dogs away others you're gutted for people and the situations. I did hug Issie's owner but don't think I would hug a man Although distressing you have helped the man and his dog. Joe is safe and in a great foster home that have taken in loads for us. Thanks ever so much to all the transport volunteers helping us. It's appreciated more than you know.
