rufus the wonderdog Posted August 17, 2009 Report Share Posted August 17, 2009 Thank you for all your good wishes I had a very special day, organised with complete secrecy by my two lovely daughters I had a morning's pampering at the local country club and spa. While I was away the house was decorated with balloons, banners and flowers. Then they prepared a birthday BBQ for me. I didn't think I would have any more surprises but nope - doorbell rings and it's my brother and SIL, who had driven over 100 miles to see me. The girls had arranged for them to be there and I hadn't had an inkling, I'd even spoken to my SIL in the morning. We had a brilliant evening - loads of food, champagne and lots of laughter.
