K9Fran
I had a pair of birds in my garden this morning, very briefly on the peanuts, but didn't stop to eat. Seemed to be a male and female, smaller than a Greenfinch with much finer beak, one of them may have had a striped chest, but hard to tell as this bird was against the light. The most distinctive feature was a grey green triangle above the beak between the eyes, the rest of the bird was dull yellowish green.
boosboss
Could they have been Siskins Siskin
Karen
Probably Siskins as boosboss says, I think they are the only thing similar in colour to greenfinches but smaller. That fine beak is quite distinctive.
