Meg, Black And White Greyhound Missing In The New Forest

My friends work their Dogs for Lowland search and Rescue it really is for Missing People (they use their Dogs to do this)but Im sure if you contact the person that is nearest you they would Help most are real dog Lovers.

Friend is away, so sadly I cant contact her directly but might be worth a call

Thanks Amie, your leads are being followed up.

 

If Meg is still missing on Saturday we're looking for volunteers to turn up, we'll start at first light and are hoping for at least 50 people, we'll then quarter the forest and do as near to a fingertip search as possible. Walking sticks and torches will be helpful.

 

 

Everybody's thoughts for Meg are very appreciated. Thank you all.

Just a thought, and apologies if its already been done, but have campsites been contacted? There are a fair few in the forest, as well as static caravan parks. Also, the BASC as they could have contacts who are in the forest or on private land close by, gamekeepers etc www.nationalgamekeepers.org.uk

 

Another thought, the The Wildlife Trust as they may have conservation work in the area so people working in the Forest.

Thanks Wendy, yes Diane phoned all 71 of them! Not sure about The Wildlife Trust will find out, thanks for the ideas.
