celeste
I would say not, since that owner took him to a vet and paid for the emergency treatment. Gentle and good wishes for his recovery. Thats what I thought at first, but then wondered about the dogs wounds being so infected as that would suggest (to me) he wasn't seen by a vet immediately , so thats why I thought that the two owners may have been the same person. melissa
If it was my dog or not I would be mortified if one of my dogs inflicted that much damage I keep looking at his sad little face & can't believe he can still trust anyone, its wonderful that you have saved him & given him a chance of a happy life

Nettie
That's an appalling mess, poor little chap, hopefully some good food, tlc and medical intervention will be enough to see him through to a new life of love and comfort.

Nettie
Bless him, just wondering wouldn't he be better off with a harness with such a sore neck? I remember when Indy was attacked and had stitches in his neck we did away with his collar until his neck had healed. How big is he?
BillyMalc
The lead to me looks like one of those temporary affairs that you get from the vet when they return your dog to you - L'pool Animal hospital had them too, and brought Mal out on one when he'd just had his lymph node removed from his throat! Put him back on his harness pdq, and to be honest, he's not been walked on his collar since. What I meant to say is that I'd assume that it's not what's on the sweet little man's neck permanently
