Ciren
the vets said yesterday i should give Peaches some bran to help her not get blocked glands. thing is i was thinking so much about where i could get it i did'nt think to ask how. now she is given dry kibble (with water always available of course) whats the chances if i give her the bran she will eat it? safneo
You could add a little water to it to soften it and then mix it into her dinner
JACKYSIAN
I just throw a handful of all bran in with Tiz's meat (she's fed raw) and she gobbles it up...then again she is staffy x beagle so would gobble a rancid dead thing given half the chance!! griff
i buy raw organic bran from the healthfood shop, its only 89p for a large bag, i just tip some into laneys bowl and mix it in with his biscuits and he seems to munch it, must admit he hasn't had his glands done for about 3 months now and doesn't appear to need them doing yet either which is an improvement
