Jakeysmum
This is my little boy bunny, Roger, who we adopted sunday from RSPCA, we will shortly be introducing him to our girly Jessica and if all goes well hubby is threatening to build me a new supersize run for them, so has anyone else ever built one? any tips on size etc would be very welcome! batmobile
They are absolutely gorgeous. I have one bunny (10 years old) whose brother died last year. I thought he'd die of sadness but he seems happier (and somehow much messier!) nowadays. Anyway, my brother, when we used to live at home, built me a run. It was 14ft by 8ft and about 4 ft high. It was huge. A monstrosity. We moved it around the garden so they always had fresh grass. IT was enormous but I insisted as I wanted it to be the minimum space they recommend rabbits to have to run free. IT took a lot of chopping to get rid of it when i moved in with hubby and had a fully enclosed garden, but it's worth it. Get treated wood, and make sure it's got cross bars as well as the frames otherwise it wobbles. Hope this helps and good luck. Let me know how the introductions went!
