Fee Posted June 27, 2008 Report Share Posted June 27, 2008 Kim is a beautiful 10 year old German Shephed who is in an Oldies Club foster home in Grantham, Lincolnshire. She had to leave her previous home as her owners could no longer give her the care she deserves. Kim is absolutely adorable and certainly doesn’t look her age. She is a very friendly lady and enjoys being with other dogs as much as she does with humans. She is very obedient and gentle and likes nothing more than a big cuddle! She loves company but is also fine to be left. Kim is house-trained and she travels well in the car. She likes to potter around the garden and have a short play with the other dogs in her foster home, especially if the hose pipe is involved! Kim is good with large and small dogs; as long as they are up for a play, she is happy. Kim came from a household with children so she is child-friendly and rabbit- and chicken-friendly too! Any children in her new home must be old enough to understand that an older dog needs quiet times and must not be pulled about. Kim is spayed and, since coming into our care, she has had a vet-check and has been microchipped, vaccinated and flea- and worm-treated. She has also received treatment for a skin condition on her hips and tail. This is clearing up well. Kim also has hip dysplasia and lumbo sacral disease for which she takes pain-relief medication. Kim’s hip condition doesn’t stop her doing anything - but she only needs short walks and she is equally happy to simply play in the garden. This girl loves enjoying herself!
