merledogs
There are zillions of metal dog crates on eBay Seriously though, until you know the size dog you are getting, I wouldn't order one just yet, cos you may end up with something totally different. Edited to add : This 36" one is big enough for a border collie comfortably (it's the one I've got). If you are going to get a smallish dog then it might be worth getting a bigger crate anyway cos if he/she is going to be in it a lot when you're camping, it gives plenty of room to move. ReikiAnge
I bought mine from eBay: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/petshoprugeley I got the 36" which is plenty big enough for a large collie sized creature, so would definitely be big enough for a cav. I also got the bolt-on bowl from them. They send out very quickly too.

reds
Ebay is by far the cheapest for dog crates, loooooaaads of metal ones on there. What was your search term? I know you've made up your mind but there are so many wonderful dogs out there, it's seems a shame to limit to one breed.
