Kathyw
Dell are going to do a complete re-installation on my laptop tomorrow to try to sort out problems. I need to cop all my files but as the drive doesn't work how can I copy them? If anyone can help I will be very grateful. Thank you
murtle
Sorry to hear it's not working, but glad it's going to get repaired. The best I can think of is either buying an external harddrive in the morning and copying it to that, or an online storage, I think from the adverts that BT offer one possibly alongside their broadband that you might be able to purchase seperately or soemthing similar from somewhere else?? Link to the BT version it's called digital vault. http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/cons...ductId=CON-3291
ReikiAnge
I was thinking about an external hard drive or a USB memory stick type thing, depending on how much you need to back up.
Brierley
USB stick pen - to be honest, I've always found them much more reliable than CD. Mind you, I have had two CD drives go down so am perhaps a tad biased
Kathyw
Now why didn't I think of that? Cause I is daft as a brush. Thank you.
