wickychoo
My mum's sweet, if slightly rotund and tall JRT left for the bridge on saturday aged 18. We adopted her a year after our last dog left for the bridge from Kenilworth (honiley) NCDL on a long-term foster as she was an "oldie". She had been there for quite a while and we found out she had been transferred from scotland as she'd spent 2 years in kennels up there after her owners died. I think she was originally called Creidagh, but someone had re-jigged it to Cree. When we collected her she hopped straight into the car, despite being 14. Mad fond of walks, you wouldn't have known her age unless you noticed her cataract. She had penchant for getting in cars too as she'd learnt that car=walk, can't teach old dogs new tricks eh?! But after her stroke last year she'd been on vivitonin, which gave her a new lease of life for the following next 9 months but then she'd been slowing down for about 6 weeks. And when her legs started failing on friday and she couldn't seem to settle comfortably-mum had to almost force her outside for a wee-she made her final journey to the vets. Run free sweet, gentle Cree, at the bridge you'll finally be able to see all those cats you long to chase!
