can some kind soul put up the receipe for liver cake/sardine cake thats do able in the microvave i cant for the life of me find the battered old bit of paper i have it written on

i use 1lb pigs liver or fish

2 eggs

1 clove garlic

& sometimes i add a bit of olive oil

liquidize it all then mix together with sr flour

EASY LIVER CAKE

 

1lb Liver

1lb Granary Flour

3 Eggs

2 Cloves of Garlic or 1tsp Garlic Powder

2 tbsp Oil

Milk

 

Liquidise Liver, Eggs, Garlic, Oil with Milk and then mix into Flour to make a cake consistency.

Put into a dish and microwave on full power for 10-12 minutes.

Cut into slices or bite size cubes and freeze.

Take out as a special treat for training and give to your dog as a reward.

 

I just use normal flour. Microwave time depends how deep the dish is, I usually do it in 2 bits.

This one is 4 mins in the mocriwave and you can substitute Sardines for the Tuna if you prefer.

 

1 Tin of Tuna in Sunflower oil (if in brine, drain and then add some oil)

 

80g Plain flour

 

1 Egg

 

Garlic Powder add as much as you think for your pets.

 

Put Tuna and oil into bowl, add the Egg and the Garlic Powder, mix well then add the flour.

 

Put onto microwaveable plate and microwave for 4 mins.

 

You can double/treble the amounts and freeze the extra.

KathyW's recipe is the one I've used and it's VERY easy to make. Even I managed it and I manage to burn toast

 

The dogs love the tuna cake too - and I make double and then freeze some (after cutting it up into little squares).
