Lizzie
I work for a charity mainly dealing with the elderly and disabled. Many of them have to go into hospital or have hospital appointments which makes it difficult for them to look after their pets, many of those pets also elderly. There is a new project starting in the Leicester area looking for volunteers to help exercise the dogs and maybe help find temporary foster homes while their owners are in hospital. Could The Oldies Club give some guidance, or even better, assistance to this project? I know you already have your hands full, but perhaps with a little co-operation between 2 charities for the benefit of pets left in emergency situations could help the peace of mind of the owners. Please PM me if you could help. Thank you

ranirottie
I sometimes help the social services and police in my area when someone is hospitalised or evicted and I think a list of fosterers willing to help on an emergency basis would be excellent but I think most fosterers are already full up. x
