Natpants
I'd like to try some more H2M moves and learn how to teach them and I thought a DVD would be a good place to start, if there is such a thing, I'm sure I've heard there are. Does anyone have a particular one they could recommend me? Thanks!
lucyandmeg
The richard curtis ones are good, as are the mary ray ones. (Mary rays are more clicker orientated. ) Their books are quite clear too. I found the attila ones a bit too involved and technical, rather than fun. Natpants
Thanks, Purdie learns really quickly with clicker training, so I'll have a look for a Mary ray one, thank you
sanrossscot
Mary Ray ones are really good, she is fascinating to watch as well.
Natpants
I've changed my mind, I can't justify spending £25 on a DVD Anyone have any cheaper ideas? Are the books good?
traceymcl
Hi Nat, Mary Ray has a really good book called 'Dog Tricks'. Lots of really good quality photos and she explains how to teach the moves really clearly. I found it much easier to follow than a DVD. Natpants
I may regret this - now have a Purdie who has realised the advantages of standing on her hind legs
DanishPastry
could you teach her to put a kettle on and do the dishes?
Natpants
could you teach her to put a kettle on and do the dishes? She'll happily "clean" the dirty dishes!
