murtle
hmmm strange, just checked on hotmail and you'd need to set up an msn mobile account by the looks of things and then advise them the details. Have you tried sending STOP back to the number it is coming from? or check with your mobile provider as you may be charged for these texts. With Vodafone you can send spam messages to VSPAM for them to look at. Orange details are here http://www1.orange.co.uk/about/contact/spam/ I'll keep looking Murtle x Edited November 1, 2006 by murtle
PamJade
Found this: Set Hotmail alerts filter By setting your Hotmail alerts filter you decide whether to have an alert sent to your phone when a message arrives in your Hotmail inbox. 1. Sign in to your account. 2. Under MSN Hotmail click "Change Hotmail alert filters" Manage your Device settings If you upgrade or lose your mobile phone, you will need to make changes to your MSN Mobile account settings, such as changing your device information, your network service provider, phone model and phone number. If you have moved countries you can also choose your language and country. Changing your device and account information is the same process as signing up to MSN Mobile. You will see the same page that you saw when you signed up and will be asked for the same information, such as your service provider and phone number. To change your device: 1. Log onto your account 2. Under My account click "Change device information" 3. Adjust your settings and click OK Create new device If you change your mobile network service provider, you can register the new device with MSN Mobile by creating a new device. To create a device: 1. Log onto your account 2. Under My account click "Change device information" 3. You will be directed to screen requiring the following information: Wireless service provider — Note: only carriers that are supported will appear on this list. Carriers not listed are not supported at present. Mobile phone number — Note: your country code is not requested. You will be asked to accept terms and conditions for your particular carrier including cost information for this service. A confirmation code will be sent to your phone that you will be prompted to enter into the website. Once your account has been created you will be ready to use mobile Hotmail. Does that help? Maybe if you can't stop it under the first option then you can delete the number via the second one. Pam
