Kathyw Posted August 23, 2006 Report Share Posted August 23, 2006 When I try to connect I get a yahoo box that tells me I have a problem and asks for my user name and password then rejects it. I also get a little digibox come up in the corner telling me my modem is locked so I unlock it, both of these are new things happening. I also get told my modem is being used for another thing. I no longer have ports listed in my device manager. I do not mess around with my computer so I cannot understand why all this is happening. A very worrying thing is that now and then I get a warning that 'malicious script is attempting' something or other. Plus my norton anti virus turned itself off. What is going on here? I am using my laptop as I haven't got round to setting up the desktop again. I don't even know if this is going to appear or I will lose my connection again. I can get into my messages from hotmail but have had trouble getting into the forums. If I don't come back on please could someone email me and tell me what is going wrong please please please.
