well - the roads were pretty good, made it up in just under 6.5 hours and now all tucked up in bed Hope everyone sleeps well and wakes up to lots of lovely pressies

mmmmmm very true, but its usually a 6 hour drive and I really don't fancy doing any of it in the dark....maybe I'll just have to wait and go up for New Year and we can have a delayed Xmas Supposedly the roads will be clearer and weather warmer tomorrow? Bugger - and I need petrol too, best try to go today in case nothing is open tomorrow!

feeling a bit weird was up early to finish packing and head off to Scotland, but since it snowed last night, and has now been snowing for the last hour I'm delaying until tomorrow, probably. So now I have a random part of a day to fill, surrounded by packed bags and boxes and wishing I had gone up earlier. Must now walk to shops to get some food as I have none in

I love all Xmas movies and have a shelf of them especially for this time of year. I always try to watch Its a Wonderful Life while wrapping my pressies even though it makes me I do love Xmas

MillyMerlieMousey Girlie was a one in a million doglet and I feel honoured to have been able to meet her and share my biscuits and her sofa I can't begin to imagine what you are going through, but we all have so much love and respect for you Alex - you cared so wonderfully for Milly and have always put her wellbeing and needs above anything else. Please know that we all love you very much, and our hearts are with you, the rest of the madmerle dogs and of course with darling Milly

Nog really is a very special boy - unfortunately his leg is special too but thank goodness for his loveable laid-back nature. Will be keeping our fingers and paws crossed for you

A little robin tells me that Santa has contacted the various rescues to check if all parcels have now been received, should be updating soon on the Holly and Ivy thread in fundraising

strangely enough since Farah arrived in my office I've had four people randomly come by just to say hello I will take pics on my phone of her tarting for the Xmas party too I'm doing surprisingly well this week despite not a huge amount of sleep and lots of excitement - very pleased indeed :smug:
