I bought this from a charity shop a couple of days ago. It's written by Bruce Fogle with foreword by Wendy Richard. Apparently Wendy Richard is a fan of greyhound racing according to the foreword and Bruce says that he would not recommend a pitbull as a family pet!!!! Me thinks that both of them are arses!

He's a gorgeous baby

We went to PAH and tried all the harnesses but Moses is so strong! On the gentle lead we can walk him one handed, even the kids could walk him if we let them but even my OH who is really strong had trouble controlling Mo on a harness

We've had a wasted morning. Asked for some fencing panels on Freecycle. Someone emailed me and said they had a few that just need a little bit of TLC. Went to Neath and found the panels to be crap - rotten and falling apart. We strapped them to the roof of the car as we felt sorry for the old lady who'd offered them. Then spent the rest of the morning breaking them up in a layby and making about 4 trips to the local tip I just wanted some fencing to stop our nosy neighbour and we can't afford to buy any unless we buy a panel a month

We had something similar. A boy ripped my daughter's headband off her head and snapped it. She told the teacher who told the boy that if he did it again he would be punished I went in and had a go at the teacher and told him that this boy couldn't do it again as he's already completely broken the headband the first time My daughter's teacher is under no illusions now that I'll allow my children to take any crap!

I'm tired so I'm probably being a bit dumb but how would they know who you are? I know on my profile it isn't mentioned where I live!

My 3 year old daughter refuses to drink milk now It was when we finally binned her bottles that she stopped drinking it. I've tried different cups, cartons, straws, milkshake but no she won't touch a drop. She's getting so big now that some days I could just cry looking at her. Faye at 7 months Now - with Cranky (Crane) the Hamster!

Please stop all this kitten talk as I'm getting very broody for a luffly licky kitty. My 4 cats are all so independent now and I keep seeing kittens advertised "free to a good home" but have resisted. I don't think the RSPCA would home to us as my youngest daughter is 3. Am I right or wrong?

I have 9 Vader - Anatolian Shepherd - 2 yrs old Poppy -Blenheim Cavalier - 2 yrs old Red - Red Fox Labrador - 2 yrs old Jim - Black and Tan Cavalier - 11+ yrs old Ricky - Tri Colour Cavalier - 7 yrs old Ollie - JR/Staffy/Collie - 2 yrs old Harry - Orange Roan Working Cocker - 3/4 yrs old Gypsy - W/Cocker x Collie - 1 yr old Moses - ABD - 1 yr old All are rescues apart from Poppy who we bought from a breeder when we weren't as knowledgable about rescue dogs and thought that no-one who rehome a dog to us as we had a baby under 18 months old.

Allie you are doing an amazing job with these babies - I'm absolutely in awe of you Sarah and I use gentle leaders on our bulldozers which seem to work better for us than harnesses. Moses isn't 100% happy with them though so I might try the PAH harness.

Had a text from Muckyhen who's camping to say that "Stella is vile and evil and I am no longer her friend" Stella being Stella Artois She also texted to say that someone congratulated her this morning on her singing last night! She can't remember singing :laugh: Are you still going to stay with her Lou?

Sarah has tried so, so hard to help Bailey. He is such a very lovely dog but he can make you scream and cry because there is just no helping him. Sarah and her children have broken their hearts making this decision. They have tried EVERYTHING to help him but nothing works. We've seen for ourselves how much he is loved and how much he loves them but I think that the right decision has been made for everyone. Sarah - I'm so proud of you for making this decision and for being brave enough to post it. You and your family are wonderful people and I love you all very much.

I should've added my friends to my list - specifically Sarah who I've not known for long but is fast becoming my bestest friend in the world

I'm sending lots of love to Connie and to you Wendy She is so beautiful. I can't wait to meet her and your other babies. My lab, Red, is getting very excited

I'm sitting at college finishing off my presentation on Breed Specific Legislation and listening to a group of little girls (well teenagers) talking absolute shite about how evil rottweilers and bullterriers are Then some stupid boy said that all spaniels are nasty as well as one chased him around the sofa! I'm having to bite my tongue as I'm in the mood to really bite someone's head off and I don't think I'd do the "dangerous dogs cause" any favours. They'd probably think that I'd need banning too
