  1. fingers crossed that everything went well. Gentle for Benji from Cher and the girls. x
  2. words fail me,and I never cease to be amazed at how cruel humans can be!
  3. I think that is a brilliant pic.
  4. sorry but no! my dogs are not allowed on the furniture at all. They have their beds and humans have theirs. I do seem to be in a minority tho!
  5. apart from my Ebbi that I bred for myself both my other dogs were rescues that just stayed! I am not particularly into jack russells but they both needed to stay for their own reasons. I love rotties but I never know what my next dog will be. I have a bull mastiff bitch here that I would love to keep but she has some lovely people coming to see her tomorrow so I'm sure they will want her. I have two gentle sweet boys up the yard,a GSD and a Dobermann but I don't do boys so I am not tempted to keep them. Who knows what the next temptation will be!
  6. when I am on the computer in my bedroom the dogs lie on top of the stairs/ landing so I decided to take a pic. The kids didn't want to be left out so here they all are!
  7. hope she is feeling a bit better today. Love from Cher and the girls. x
  8. how cute is that! She does look a bit like a jr x staffie but it is a lovely cross. x
  9. poor Annie,we all wish her a speedy recovery. xx
  10. thank you,it sounds a really good idea to me. x
  11. I have just seen an interesting article in my caravan magazine. It is a site set up to let people know where dog friendly places are eg; cafe's,pubs, hotels, guest houses etc. They also want other people to add other friendly places to it. I am not going to add a link but i will put the site name on. Is that OK, am I allowed to do that? www.dogfriendlybritain,co.uk. It allows you to search by town names or region.
  12. my rottie reared several kittens but I have never seen it the other way round. How lovely. x
  13. there was a pointer pup advertised in our local freecycle so I contacted them and said that either I would take it if I had a space or I would give them the numbers of some rescues. They mailed back to say that they had given it away. Then they mailed again to say that it had come back and would I take him. Next mail said he had been given away again ,now he is coming to me on Sunday. He is only 6 months old!! I HATE people sometimes!
  14. thank you Sid. xxxxx hubby is not talking to me because for the millionth time I promised that I would give up rescue and all of a sudden I am busier than ever. So no valentine card from him!
  15. yes,I agree with Tracey and Cycas too. I worry about my family,my own dogs,my horses,my rescue cats and the rescue dogs that I have in and the ones that are waiting to come in,I worry about hubby's blood pressure and cholestrol, and his depression,I worry about my disabled grandon and his life shortened illnesses,I worry about my elderly mum and sometimes I even get time to worry about the fact that I am ill and am going blind. I really can't worry about any more or I will explode!
  16. I was so pleased to see the quote "the deed not the breed", sense at last!

Rudi the boarder Briard is really annoying my Ebbi because he keeps trying to bonk her even tho he is old and neutered. Kizzy is getting worried because I shouted at Rudi........................................so it is a good day here!
