He's actually doing something useful and highlighting the cruelty behind shark fin soup. It's horrific what humans will do to another species. The industry will make all sharks extinct very soon by the way it operates

Thank you all for your good wishes- he went for a long walk today at Talacre (the longest he's done for months and I'm pleased to say that his lovely bounce was in evidence for most of it This is a today photo, showing how bald his face is - it was taken after his walk so he's looking a little tired

Just wanted to wish Con Happy 9th birthday After the last few months when we had a few vets tell us that he was very ill and not to “buy his medicine for the next month” he’s gone against expectations and made it to 2011 and his 9th birthday. He’s still not right, but we are seeing slight signs of improvement and we are hoping they continue and he continues to defy the vets.

Is there any way you can convince your Mum that they are nurses?

Nothing. I love where I am now and wouldn't change anything in case I didn't end up married to Ray
