Thanks Kelly I won't forget but hopefully I'll be pleasantly calm by the summer

Sorry to quote myself but the book which his English teacher swears Ceri didn't hand in was handed back to him (by her) today & the work in it was marked as 'Excellent' and given a merit and she highly recommended him to do some special work today - so much for the 'below average' assessment she gave him based on the work he 'didn't hand in' He's really happy so I'll refrain from twatting her one RMF I have a stray white hair waving around the top of my head as if it's got a helium balloon attached to it Hello Jules

He's gorgeous, no wonder you've all fallen for him An abscess so close to his ear must have made him feel dreadful - onwards and upwards now Jasper My neighbour had two FIV cats but you'd never have known looking at them - hoping that Jasper is able to stay with your Mum & Dad
-
You're insane I've never had a handbag in my life and never will, I just don't get it
-
Happy gotcha day Abby, you stay as perfect as you are Love the pic of Abby & Arran waiting for Dad
-
Lots of good thoughts for poor Jasper and huge :GroupHug: for you and your Mum (and your Dad who sounds equally as lovely )
-
Good luck to your OH Will he be looking elsewhere as well? Job insecurity is so stressful for you too.
-
Fantastic news! How awful Good luck with both My neighbours are moving - I won't miss the pot cemetary in their garden (which is in front of my house) but I will miss them.
-

That's good, I thought I was becoming not quite a full shilling I've always heard them but just before I visited my Dad recently it happened quite a lot here and at his house. @your norty pal owl - I think I would have wet myself

-
Hmmmm.... I had one ten years ago, it's not that bad (the biopsy I had to have was like being clamped in a vice though & the bloody nurse left the room for about five minutes )
-
Double  ( or is that triple now ) RMQ Does anyone ever hear their name called by a disembodied voice?
-
Lots of good thoughts for your Mum, I hope she's able to come home soon :GroupHug: for all of you
-
Bloody well done to you, Mark and all of your family, human and animal (and your Dogstar family in Sri Lanka) who must all miss you when you're away
-
You're lucky, mine literally climb the walls, shred curtains and try to open windows if I try to keep them in.
-
I had this same conversation with my Dad last night when he told me about the man and his dogs on the River Tees ( he lives over that way) - so tragic but so avoidable :GroupHug: for George and you RMF Pumpkin is trying to kill the smilies
-
Glad little EFD is doing well I have cut my fringe - perhaps I shouldn't have Anyone got a hat? More snow on the way supposedly - why????
-
Thank you Good luck with the house and especially good luck tomorrow

Awful to read about the kingfisher and especially the goldcrest as Pumpkincat killed a female a few days ago He brought in a female thrush this morning which I managed to get off him and release but only after it had stunned itself flying at the window. I think I may have to put my cats under house arrest I've been feeding the birds on my neighbour's very tall (with thorny bush around base) bird table & they love the Bill Oddie birdfood which Alex mentioned as well as a Bill Oddie fatcake - both are full of mealworms as well as seeds and berries.

If his form tutor was at school I could approach her as she knows Ceri well and I trust her but she's been off for weeks with a back injury. I'm afraid I'm a very bad mother and succumbed to using nefarious tactics (think WoW subscription renewal ) which led Ceri to suggest a compromise by doing another (even better ) drawing which he included. There was a degree of 'dumbing down' in his first year for fear of being called a 'spof' which I'm trying to prevent happening again. Anyway, hopefully he'll get used to his abilities and not try to hide from them - with a 'gentle' nudge from his horrible mother Thanks for the advice, it really does help Tis thawing here too - fingers crossed it continues. Owl, your EFD sounds gorgeous and very lucky to have found her way to you :GroupHug: for your headache merley and to all in need today
-
That makes sense - DR would apply to me - dimwit refugee

You're right and that's what I'd like to do but woe betide me if I contact his teachers I don't know what EFD stands for
